CLEARFIL™ S³ BOND PLUS is the one-step adhesive for direct restorations. It is developed based on CLEARFIL™ S³ BOND technology which has five years clinical evidence.* Etching, priming and bonding steps are completed with one-liquid, one-coat treatment.

The high bond strength of CLEARFIL™ S³ BOND PLUS is created by two innovative technologies by Kuraray: the high performance initiator and the proven MDP monomer.
The new high performance initiator for light-curing improves the clinical performance by building up more active radicals than conventional initiators and making the bond more stable against water thanks to the increased polymerization ratio.
The integrated adhesive monomer MDP takes care of a strong chemical bond to hydroxyapatite. Being in use for more than 25 years, included in well-esteemed products like PANAVIA™ F 2.0 and CLEARFIL™ SE BOND, the MDP monomer stands for a high bond strength and reliable adhesion durability to tooth structure.
The stable interface between tooth and composite resin is furthermore ensured by Kuraray’s unique Molecular Dispersion Technology contained in CLEARFIL™ S³ BOND PLUS. The technology allows hydrophilic and hydrophobic components of the bonding to be homogenously combined – constantly. Thus, there is no phase separation, resulting in the formation of a homogenous layer on the preparation surface. The bond, showing no water voids, excels through its excellent bond performance. Kuraray Europe GmbH establishes subsidiary in France
At the end of 2011 Kuraray Europe GmbH established a new wholly owned subsidiary in France: Kuraray Europe France S.A.R.L. The new company is based in Antony, suburb of Paris. "We have set up this new company to drive forward growth in Europe," explained Werner Flach, Head of Finance and Administration and member of the Management Committee of Kuraray Europe GmbH to mark the opening of the new subsidiary on January 17, 2012. "France is an important market for us and we intend to step up customer service in this country through our new subsidiary." Initially, the business activities of Kuraray Europe France S.A.R.L. will focus on the dental business. Further product lines will be added as Kuraray expands its European business. The team of the new company starts with Managing Director Daniel Kinderf and Marketing and Sales Manager Valerie Salavin and will be expanded gradually in the coming months.
